Job Description Inpatient Psychiatry opening - Cooperstown,
NYPosition Details - Full-time, permanent - Hospital employed -
Progressive, academic health system in central New York and major
teaching affiliate of Columbia University - Established department
of 6 Adult Psychiatrists and 2 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
- Call 1 in 5 or better - Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record;
Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs - Medical school
campus for Columbia University, with academic appointment available
- Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient
Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit, consults to
Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to
the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient
Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites
throughout the Group and extensive Telepsychiatry services.
