Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/27/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER) Facility Location: 750 E Adams St, Syracuse, NY 13210 Duration: 13 Weeks ? Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Some holidays required Unit Details: • Pediatric Emergency Department • Adult ED experience is a plus • Candidates with only combined Adult/Peds ED experience will not be considered Experience Requirements: • Majority of experience must be in Pediatric Emergency Department • Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level • Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience preferred • Travelers considered only if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers Clinical Requirements: • Strong triage skills required • Must be formally triage trained Licensure & Certifications: ? Active New York State RN License ? BLS (current and recertifiable) Charting System: • EPIC experience preferred Qualifications & Compliance: • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation • No prior professional liability claims • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required • Must pass pre-employment health clearance • Subject to drug screening and criminal background check ???
