(Rochester, NY) - Role: Registered Nurse – PCU / MSDU / IMCU -
Location: Rochester, NY - Facility: Rochester General Hospital
(Tertiary Care, 528 beds) - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13
weeks - Openings: 1 - Shift: Nights, 4x12 hrs (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) -
Weekend: Every other - First-Time Travelers: Accepted - Locals: Not
accepted (75-mile radius) Unit & Patient Care - Unit: MSDU / IMCU
(Stepdown / PCU) - Beds: 26 (unit); daily census ~17–18 - Patient
Ratio: - Days: 1:3 - Nights: 1:4 (must handle up to 1:5–1:7 when
floating to Med-Surg) - Population: Adult & Geriatric;
pulmonary-focused medical diagnoses - Continuous telemetry &
pulse-ox monitoring - Frequent transfers from ED, PACU, ICU,
Med-Surg Requirements - Experience: Minimum 1 year
PCU/MSDU/Stepdown - Travel Experience: Required - License: NY RN
license in hand – mandatory - Certifications: BLS required | ACLS &
NIHSS preferred - Charting: EPIC – hard requirement - Float: Yes
(ICU or Med-Surg) Key Skills - Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia
interpretation/management - Non-titrated cardiac & vasoactive drips
- IV therapy, blood products, central & peripheral lines - Oxygen
therapy, BiPAP/non-invasive airway support - Rapid Response/Code
Team participation Compliance Notes - RTO approved with submission
- EPIC experience required - NY license required at submission -
Candidates will float - Backgrounds reviewed case-by-case - Return
staff: 1-year wait - Foreign education must be disclosed at
