Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room Location: Syracuse, NY Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid/Evening shift, primarily 13:00 – 21:00 with mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts (typical hours include 07:00–15:30, 11:00–19:30, 15:00–23:30, 07:00–19:30, 11:00–23:30) Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements Responsibilities: /t - /t Perform scrub role for adult operating room surgical procedures. /t /t - /t Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and surgical supplies. /t /t - /t Anticipate surgeon needs and assist throughout procedures. /t /t - /t Maintain strict aseptic technique and patient safety standards. /t /t - /t Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and perioperative teams. /t /t - /t Function independently with minimal supervision in a high-acuity acute care setting. /t Required Qualifications: /t - /t Current CST certification. /t /t - /t Minimum 3 years of recent operating room experience within the past 4 years. /t /t - /t Recent experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center, teaching hospital, or comparable acute care facility. /t /t - /t Proven scrub experience in: /t /t/t - /t/t Trauma and emergency surgery /t/t /t/t - /t/t Orthopedics /t/t /t/t - /t/t General surgery /t/t /t/t - /t/t Vascular, ENT, GYN, GU, bariatric, neurosurgery /t/t /t /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31696744.
