Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8-hour day shifts for 13 weeks /n• 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing /n• Current New York State RN license required /n• Those without recent Operating Room experience must participate and pass the six month Association of Operating Room Nursing Peri-operative 101 Education Program /n• Successful completion and passing grade on final exam is mandatory /n• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred /n• Minimum one year medical/surgical experience preferred /n• Preceptorship, charge and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs /n• Must recognize safety issues and assess/implement use of lifts to move patients safely /n• Must function well in stressful situations with good creative problem-solving skills /n• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate /n• May be required to assume duties as charge nurse /n• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills required /n• Knowledge of clinical equipment instrumentation for safe/aseptic OR/ASU environment /n• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills required /n• On-call required with 30-minute response time /n• Subject to 100 mile radius rule /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services including advanced surgical and perioperative care.
