Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) Location New York, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3 x 12 hour shifts, primarily days with some late nights (evenings) and holidays. No weekends required. Job Description An Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) plays a critical role in performing diagnostic electrophysiology procedures in a clinical setting. Your primary responsibility is to prepare patients for procedures, ensure all equipment is functional, monitor recordings during procedures, and assist with lab data analysis for physicians or specialists. Responsibilities - Prepare patients and equipment for electrophysiology studies and ablations. - Maintain fluid levels for ablation catheters and assist with ablator during procedures. - Communicate effectively with physicians and in-room staff regarding patient care. - Document patient data and procedure details using Epic software. - Provide backup pacing during device implant procedures. - Facilitate room turnover and ensure timely starts for scheduled procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 2 years of nursing experience in a related field. - Current New York State RN License. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
