Job DescriptionINSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Provide sales support and customer service to
an existing assigned customer base while actively pursuing new
business opportunities. Work with other AAI departments, outside
sales, and vendors to impart unparalleled customer satisfaction.
CORE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine customer requirements in order to recommend specific
products, solutions, or services
- Introduce new products to existing customers
- Vigorously seek prospective new accounts employing standard
sales methods
- Retain existing customers by building rapport and providing
unmatched customer service
- Receive and process orders from customers utilizing
Eclipse
- Maintain proper records of all transactions (sales orders,
cancellations, returns, credits, warranties, complaints) and
preform follow up activity as the situation dictates
- Provide timely solutions to customer queries
- Customer quotations
- Maintain liaison with other departments for order completion
and timely shipment
- Work with vendors as necessary to gather information regarding
pricing and availability
- Correspond with customers via e-mail, telephone, and fax
- Provide back up support to team members as required
- Manage pricing and margins in conjunction with outside sales to
maximize profitability
- Attend training to obtain relevant knowledge regarding existing
and new product lines
- Load and maintain Rebates in Eclipse as well as contact vendors
for special pricing or renewal of expired Special Price Agreements
and Rebates EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Multitasking and prioritizing
- Organized and efficient to handle multitasking environment
- Computer skills to include Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
