Job Summary: Diesel Technician needed to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers, and provide preventative maintenance services in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job: As a Diesel Technician at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will work in a dynamic environment where you will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, assisting customers with roadside services, and providing preventative maintenance services.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
    
  • Assist customers with roadside services.
    
  • Provide preventative maintenance services.
    
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
    
  • Ability to work in various temperatures.
    
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
    
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
    
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
