Job Description:
Job: Class AA Electrician
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (Saturday @ supervisor's
discretion)
Job Knowledge/Skills:
Ohmmeter
Voltage Tester
Multimeter
Megohmmeter
Pneumatic, Hand and Power Tools
Calibration and Testing Instruments
Required Work Experience:
3 - 5 years in electrical field
Educational Requirements:
HS Diploma
Pass electrical test given to all bidders
Must be able to participate in and complete a 4-year New York State
Approved Apprentice Program
Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school
preferred
Required Licenses, certifications and/or registries:
Journeyman Electrician Card preferred, but not required.
Additional Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
Assuming Candidate possesses the experience, education and skills
required, estimated amount of supervised and/or on-the-job training
required:

N Color: Ability to detect various colors in the spectrum and
differentiate between them
Environmental conditions:
O Extreme Heat: Exposure to temperatures sufficiently high to cause
marked bodily discomfort
O Extreme Cold: Exposure to temperatures sufficiently low to cause

O Wet or Humid: Contact with water, liquids or other humid

C Moving Parts: Exposure to possible bodily injury from moving
mechanical parts of
equipment, tools, or machinery
O Heights: Exposure to possible bodily injury from falling
F Chemicals: Exposure to possible bodily injury from toxic or
caustic chemicals
