Job Title: IT Applications Analyst
Department: Information Systems
Reports To: Manager, Outpatient EMR
Job Summary: Responsible for the analysis, administration, development, installation, testing and maintenance of the organization's applications. Act as a technical contact to address application and system issues. Monitor systems capacity and performance. Create functional design document and other relevant documents for internal use and end users. Provide instructions and training for staff, when necessary. Provide technical expertise and assistance in designing, testing and developing applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency, consistency and achieve successful utilization of applications. Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle. Complete or facilitate timely progress or completion of routine requests, optimization or project related work.
Job Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Participate or complete software or process development. Utilize application programming or configuration options to meet desired development.
  
• Conduct on-site training and support for application for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  
• Work on-site with users, internal team members or vendors to resolve issues or complete optimization development.
  
• Participate and complete activity planning. Facilitate progress and timely completion of routine requests, optimization or project related work.
  
• Participate or complete application or functionality upgrades.
  
• Identify, participate or complete optimization/process improvement requests.
  
• Participate or complete the development of training materials, training sessions, reference guides, communication, etc.
  
• Provide application and process support to end-users.
  
• Participate or complete quality assurance review.
  
• Identify or perform system monitoring.
  
• Flexible in assuming other appropriate duties not noted above.
  
  Requirements:
  Education - Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience
  Experience - 2+ years of related experience. Healthcare experience preferred. EHR, specifically Medent, strongly desired.
  Licensure - N/A
  Physical Requirements - Must be able to work in an office setting an average of 8 hours per day. Must be able to work on a computer for prolonged periods. Must be able to operate the equipment used for the job. May require lifting and carrying light loads.
