As a lead Business Analyst, you will build the long-term capability, performance and team management of the existing and future business analyst team including staff, partners and suppliers in order to improve and optimize service delivery within an assigned portfolio of applications or services aligned with business goals and objectives, including the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities (both process and technical) from risk registers, customer feedback, supplier performance reports and output of incident/problem management processes.
  • Manage and recruit business analyst team in line with long-term skills and capabilities aligned to the investment and capability development plans.
  • Lead on defining and implementing continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and development for the business analyst practice team.
  • Provide strategic direction to the business analyst team and undertake project related analysis work while holding accountability for the quality and consistency across projects of team output.
  • Drive the implementation of consistent processes and methodologies across a capability ensuring compliance with key business requirements.
  • Complete all support documentation on assigned projects, including creating and updating all user and technical procedures/manuals, business, and functional requirements, traceability matrices, process flows, operational support documentation and archives.
  • Ensure accurate root cause analysis and corrective action identification, with the eco-system partners followed by providing architectural oversight and guidance for major changes to operational systems. What you'll need
    • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering or similar discipline; or equivalent work experience with relevant industry/professional certifications
    • A relevant industry/professional certification
    • A minimum 5 years' professional experience acquired in relevant roles and domains It would be awesome if you had
      • Experience building, managing and developing a team of specialist resources.
      • Proven ability to build credible and long term working relationships within IT, business teams and third-party suppliers and demonstrate influence in a team environment.         Salary $99,000 - $139,000 a year Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
