Job PurposeThe Process and Performance Analyst will participate with a dynamic team of employees who will work seamlessly with the NY Electric Operations team to strategically analyze the organizations strength and weaknesses, leverage what is working well across the state, and mitigate risk to help enable meeting the organizations long term goals. The Analyst will aid in proactive communications to key stakeholders internally and externally. This role is expected to provide organized tracking expertise as well as build internal and external relationships in order to deliver on process and performance improvements.
Key AccountabilitiesPosition Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Research, compile, document and evaluate data and statistics to produce routine reports and make recommendations based on independent analysis
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to share best practice, provide technical advice and build bases of influence
  • Provide insight and input on opportunities for enhancing standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Identify opportunities and potential solutions to improve department processes and products
  • Plan, direct and take responsibility for new and developmental assignments
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or engineering preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in a datacentric role, enhancing reports and dashboards required
    • In lieu of Bachelor's degree, Associate degree and 6+ years of data analysis work experience required
    • Proficiency with a variety of computer software, including the proven ability to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases required
    • Experience with Power BI and SAP Hana strongly preferred
    • Experience with process management and improvements preferred
    • Strong written and oral communication skills in order to discuss process and improvement measures with stakeholders required
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills required
    • Strong customer service focus required
    • Ability to cope with a changing landscape and overcome obstacles required
    • Valid driver's license required
