CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for candidates for a Production Specialist in our Ogdensburg area. Full TimeProduction Specialist The Production Specialist is a member of the Production Department and is responsible for the daily print production, document reproduction, packaging and shipment of alternate format documents and statements for the blind and partially sighted community. The Production Specialist reports directly to the US Production Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Processing customer documents and statements using proprietary software for theautomatic conversion of documents and statements into alternative formats in accordancewith customer Service Level Agreements (S.L.A), Quality Standards and WorkInstructions.2. Completing the processing of documents and statements in accordance with customerspecific Work Instructions.3. Ensuring the efficient and accurate coding, proofing and production of alternate formatdocuments.4. Completing and distributing reconciliation and other reports to customers as required.5. Understanding SLA requirements for all customers, including required turnaround timesand download schedules.6. Identifying processing deficiencies and bugs through diligent application of QualityAssurance processes and standards. Reporting all such deficiencies to Developmentstaff in a timely manner with accurate and complete descriptions in JIRA or such otherticket-tracking utility implemented by employer. Coordinating deployment of bug fixes andsimilar functionality with Development staff.7. Ensuring that processed documents and statements are sent to Production for timelyprinting and delivery and supporting the Production Department as needed.8. Summarizing processing volumes and tracking time spent on specific customer tasks insupport of invoicing and human resources processes and through appropriate utilities, such as JIRA.9. Communicating on a regular basis with members of other departments, including theDevelopment Department, on the progress and status of any maintenance associated withcustomer tools.10. Assisting in other areas of the US Operations to ensure the timely completion anddistribution of customer statements, as directed by the Manager or other senior staff inthe office.11. As time permits, completing the Braille Certification Training and any other training asdeemed appropriate to the effective performance of the job.12. Maintaining work area in a safe and clean fashion and following all health and safetypolicies and standards.Note: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
