Support Services Administrator Job Description: The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative employee that supports the following: Development, Membership, Executive Director, Director of Finance, Board of Directors, Gift Gallery, Education, and programming. The idea candidate will be an energetic multi-tasker with excellent customer service skills and written and oral communication. As assigned by the Executive Director, the Support Services Administrator will participate in various departmental and inter-departmental functions with duties that include, but are not limited to: Acts as a liaison with the OHA Board of Directors and to the general public.In cooperation with the Executive Director, produces all Board of Directors related materials, including meeting reminders and other reminders and paperwork per Board President.--Responsible for taking accurate minutes at Board meetings as well as Executive/Finance Committee meetings.--Keeps files of board related /and organization information.Oversees the ordering of office supplies and upkeep and maintenance of office machinery.Answers all general phone and email inquires and directs others to the appropriate departments.Assists in the coordination and execution of events and programming, including the ordering of supplies, checking-in guests, organizing guest lists, and taking ticket orders over the phone.Works in conjunction with the Director of Finance to maintain revenue logs on weekly basisResponsible for all aspects of incoming and outgoing mail.Inputs memberships, donations, sponsorships, etc. into organization database.Produces thank you letters for donations to be signed by the Director of Development and/or the Executive Director.Oversees all aspects of membership, including sending and processing renewals, reports, and campaigns.Responsible for creating multiple lists for various projects from the database.Aids department heads as needed.Is the primary staff backup for OHA's downtown Syracuse Gift Gallery.Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of related experience in a professional position (nonprofit preferred). Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite is necessary.-- Ideal Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in an administrative position at a nonprofit with membership and database experience.-- Benefits:Two weeks of vacation with additional sick and personal time403(b) with company matchCompany health insurancePaid Garage Parking Work Environment: There is no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
