About the Role
Rapid Response Monitoring is looking for an Unarmed or Armed Corporate Security Officer (Full-Time) to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Salary Range: $22 - $26 an hour (Based upon experience)

Shift Hours: Overnight: 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Location: Onsite in Syracuse, NY
About the Position

• 
  
• Ensure the facility is provided with high quality services to protect people and property
  
• Maintain a security presence by patrolling both inside and outside of the facility
  
• Monitoring security cameras
  
• Detect and report safety concerns and potential risks
  
  Required NYS Training and Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Must possess a current NYS Guard License
    
  • 8 Hour Pre-assignment Training
    
  • 16 Hours on The Job Training
    
  • 8 Hour Annual in Service Training
    
  • 8 Hour Annual Firearms Training
    
    Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • High School degree or equivalent
      
    • Prior experience as an armed or unarmed security officer working in a team environment
      
    • Ability to proactively identify problems, creatively develop and execute solutions
      
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to relate to and interact with other people in a friendly, professional manner
      
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
      
    • Preferred: Associate Degree
      
      
      • 
        
      • Preferred: Relevant weapons training (47-hour Firearms Pre-assignment)
        
      • Preferred: Valid New York State Pistol permit
        
      • Preferred: Current NYS Armed Guard License

        • Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
