3rd SHIFT FOUNDRY WORKERS / MATERIAL HANDLERS
3rd shift differential = $2.00 per hour / 5% bonus plan & Wages start at $22.54 per hour.
$1000 sign-on bonus

Position Overview:
CPP is actively hiring for the 3rd Shift (11:00p - 7:30am Sun-Thurs) weekends & OT as needed . This role handles the overall operations of our production facility and is responsible for the duties associated with Alloy: segregation and pre melt preparation. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and other, and effect short term and long-term business goals. Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to work in a team environment, multi-task and provide guidance to other employees
• Ability to set-up molds for melting
• Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to use multiple different pieces of equipment including: Robots, Metal Shear, Wheelbrator, Hydraulic Press, Plasma Torch, Grinders & Cut-Off Saw.
• Should have basic trouble shooting skills and s upport continuous improvement initiatives
• Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Ability to work overtime
• Attendance/Reliability
• Ability to work at the Chittenango facility
• Various other duties as assigned by Supervision Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience: Knowledge of Foundry environment.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Forklift license may be required.
  • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Internal Method Sheets (IMS). Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers and leadership. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to use basic gages and measuring devices. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram form. About Us:
