Overview:Location: Liverpool, NY Department: Transportation Reports To: In House Driver TrainerROLE SPECIFICSYou'll be working indoors and outdoors throughout the year and will be exposed to harsh weather extremes. Shifts are generally 10 hours long for four days a week or 12 hours long for three days a week.WHAT YOU'LL DOSafely and efficiently move trailers throughout the truck yardWeigh loaded trailersInspect and perform basic maintenance on spotter tractorsWash trailers as neededPerform lot and/or yard checksApply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the positionRole Specifics:Schedules available: Friday - Sunday 6 am - 6:30 pmWork Environment - Temperature extremes (summer and winter conditions) working in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.Starting Rate - $22.33 for weekend day shiftSafety: This position assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work locations, exercise and promotes safe behaviors and show unyielding support of programs, rules and policies regarding safety.EOE/AA Employer: Dot believes all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunities.
