Job Description:

Full-time position (1.0 FTE); 8.0 hours per day; 12 months per year

  Champions a vision for the GST BOCES Model Schools program to become the preferred provider of innovative professional learning that leverages technology to optimize student learning and well-being.
  
  
• 
  Works closely with the Director of Instructional Support Services in support of shared long-term goals, short term objectives, and strategies/activities for Model Schools program efficacy.
  
  
• 
  Supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned team members including Instructional Support Teachers and clerical staff.
  
  
• 
  Leads a team modeling Boces Values (Leadership, Service, Collaboration and Integrity), creative thinking, and flexibility.
  
  
• 
  Utilizes data to inform successful program outcomes regularly, sharing this information within the context of Boces vision and mission.
  
  
• 
  Manages Model Schools COSER budgets in collaboration with the Director of Instructional Support Services.
  
  
• 
  Communicates effectively with a range of stakeholder groups including component district administrators and teachers.
  
  
• 
  Attends district, regional, and state-level meetings and trainings as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Assist districts with data analysis and strategic planning to develop and implement strategies in support of their technology and/or professional learning plan goals.
  
  
• 
  Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  
  Job Qualifications
  Valid New York State certification in School District Leader or School Administrator/Supervisor
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Minimum of five (5) years of experience is school administration
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated supervisory, leadership and organizational skills
    
    
  • 
    Prosocial leader with strong technology, communication, and customer service skills
    
    
  • 
    Experience in staff development with technology integration
