MRI Technologist
MRI Technologist needed in Syracuse, NY.
Contract to hire
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $29 - $31 an hourDOE
Duties:

• Daily MR operations under the guidance of the Administrator.
  • Coordinates patient flow and scheduling
  • Uses EHR systems for patient care and imaging
  • Greets patients, explains procedures to patients, and positions to obtain the required images
  • Responsible for QA of images in accordance with guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Oversight and maintenance of MRI specific protocols and policies
  • Reports all potential/current equipment malfunctions
  • Responsible for maintaining accreditation in MR
  • Serves as the liaison for the MR QA/ safety committee meetings and oversees MR safety guidelines.
  • Performs MR scans to maintain proficiency
  • Performs intravenous contrast injections on patients
  • Oversight and implementation of MR research projects, and coordination of MRI related applications training Requirements:
    • Current NYS license in Radiology, ARRT Board Certification for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, NYS Licensure or equivalent.
    • Must have certification to perform contrast injections
    • Current CPR certification
