MRI Technologist MRI Technologist needed in Syracuse, NY. Contract to hireHours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pmPay Rate: $29 - $31 an hour DOEDuties: Daily MR operations under the guidance of the Administrator.Coordinates patient flow and schedulingUses EHR systems for patient care and imagingGreets patients, explains procedures to patients, and positions to obtain the required imagesResponsible for QA of images in accordance with guidelines, policies, and proceduresOversight and maintenance of MRI specific protocols and policiesReports all potential/current equipment malfunctionsResponsible for maintaining accreditation in MRServes as the liaison for the MR QA/ safety committee meetings and oversees MR safety guidelines.Performs MR scans to maintain proficiencyPerforms intravenous contrast injections on patientsOversight and implementation of MR research projects, and coordination of MRI related applications trainingRequirements:Current NYS license in Radiology, ARRT Board Certification for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, NYS Licensure or equivalent.Must have certification to perform contrast injectionsCurrent CPR certificationKnowledge of the MRI policies and proceduresInnova Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
