General Description:
The Direct Support Professional II- Day Habilitation (DSP II) is a Mon-Fri Full Time Day position and includes benefits such as Health, Life, Vision and Dental Insurance. Paid Time Off (PTO) and 403(b) with employer match.
The DSP II manages and coordinates all resources necessary to ensure that a quality,individualized, and safe program is delivered that meets or exceeds the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities compliance standards.
They are responsible for developing the curriculum andactivities that keep individuals energized, engaged and mentally stimulated.
The DSP II will facilitate the classes and provide direction to the Direct Support Professionals working in the Day Hab area.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities are required.
  • Valid/Clean Driver's License is required. The Arc of Chemung Schuyler is an EQUALOPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
