Job Description:

The College of Professional Studies seeks an innovative, technically proficient and experienced professional to serve as the colleges web developer. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of all College of Professional Studies websites and lead in the development of new web platforms and related initiatives. He/she will be responsible for unifying and expanding the web presence and functionality as the college builds out its data management strategy and practices. The Web Specialist will collaborate with peers, staff, and external partners to develop and implement integrating technologies to bridge various software systems that comply with all technical and operational standards including responsive design, accessibility, and other Department and University standards. The Web Developer will assist in expanding the College of Professional Studies outreach through the effective use of emerging technologies and stay informed of leading-edge technical trends and solutions. Responsible for the front and back-end coding of websites to meet the needs of functional users and stakeholders. The web specialist will also be responsible for managing web-based applications that are hosted on University servers, as well as in the cloud.
