The Warranty & Claims Specialist will be an acting liaison with field representatives on warranty opportunities and communicates the returns process with vendors, customers, and employees involved in the returns process. The ideal candidate facilitates complaints, credits, returns, and replacements. Analyzes field failure trends and reports metrics to top management, triggers corrective action process in conjunction with Quality Assurance.**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:**+ Responsible for informing field representatives and council of any service related changes.+ Coordinate warranty claim support communication between Xylem operations and the field with regards to Xylem products.+ Provide warranty/service related field service support to local Representatives, contractors.+ Confirm if labor claims performed by vendors are warranty or non-warranty. Authorize payment as appropriate.+ Advise product line managers and marketing managers of any failure trends.+ Satisfies customer complaints in order to keep customers and to avoid law suits+ Support investigations and review damage and lost claims reports regarding Xylem product as directed thru Xylem Legal Administrator.+ Facilitate labor and material claims including returns/RMAs, credits, and replacement orders.+ Support return goods process+ Undertake other assignments as directed by the Customer Support Management team.+ Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities**Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:**+ Bachelors Degree+ 2 - 5 years work experience in Warranty or Customer Service related positions**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Exceptional communication skills; verbal, written, presentation+ Sales and/or Customer service experience a must**We Offer You More Than Just "A Job"**+ **Professional Development** - To advance the capabilities of our people, we offer a wide variety of experiences to support our employees' professional growth and continuous learning.+ **Total Rewards** - We offer comprehensive programs for compensation, benefits, recognition, learning and development, work-life integration and corporate citizenship.+ **Watermark** - Watermark is our corporate social responsibility program working to provide education and access to safe water to ensure healthy lives, gender equality, and resilient communities.
