LOTTE Biologics is a new division of the LOTTE Corporation with a vision to become a global top 10 CDMO company by 2030. LOTTE is currently in the process of acquiring Britol Myers Squibb's Syracuse manufacturing site, which will transition to the CDMO business model and become the base of LOTTE Biologics' US subsidiary.
We are looking for a highly motivated specialist to handle C&B tasks. The C&B specialist's responsibilities include from job evaluations, salary surveys participation, market competitiveness comparison, compensation planning, providing benefits programs and reports generation etc. The C&B specialist is responsible for performing successful C&B tasks and reports to the Head of Human Resources.
Major Responsibilities:Compensation:

  • Perform job evaluations, market pricing and salary recommendations
  • Collate internal data for the US region and submit salary surveys
  • Interpret salary data and perform analysis to ensure competitive positioning within the market
  • Support regularly scheduled competitive pay reviews for select groups of employees, proposing updates to salary ranges and hiring guidelines
  • Execute and administer annual compensation planning in addition to handling any manual calculations needed
  • Research, problem solve and respond on issues related to compensation programs, objectives and procedures raised by employees, HR and third-party vendors
  • Provide reporting and analytics support to Total Rewards for annual activities; mandatory, off-cycle and department salary reviews
  • Prepare reports to respond to external audit and government bodies as required
    • Execute and administer activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrolments, status changes, and terminations including some social security programs
    • Research, problem solve and respond on issues related to benefit programs, objectives and procedures raised by employees, HR and third-party vendors
    • Perform testing activities for benefits administration systems implementations, changes, and ongoing enhancements
    • Project plan and manage any system change requirements pertaining to benefit windows, enhancements, or country projects in supporting their successful rollout and implementation
    • Review and monitor data integration reports to identify and address inaccuracies and systems errors
    • Prepare and action monthly changes in provider portals as needed
    • Prepare, manage, and close enrollment windows in partnership with system provider
    • Liaise with system providers, local brokers, and vendors
    • Review, action, and reconcile system generated reports
    • Understand, interpret, and effectively communicate benefit plan provisions, policies, programs, process, and practice as the escalation point
    • Assist with the administration of wellness programs and vendors. Coordinate wellness communications
    • Administer invoicing and payment processes for regional and some local vendors including validating payments, etc. within the defined vendor management frameworkLeave of Absence:
      • Provide guidance on complex benefits related issues to employees, interpreting policies or plans and leveraging vendors when necessary to support resolution of inquiries
      • Maintain policy and procedure documentation and is responsible for communicating any changes, including conducting any necessary training
        Education & Experience:
        • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred
        • 3+ years of experiences in C&B role is required
        • Good understanding in HR policies, processes, labor laws and HR-related tasks
        • Experience working in a rapid, fast-moving environment and in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment
        • Ability to use business judgment when assessing requirements and performance; identifying the right solution to meet business needs
        • Demonstrated analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities
        • Excellent oral and written communication skills
