Job Summary:Under direction of the Lead Customer Service Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor and/or the Customer Service Manager the Customer Service Representative will field all Customer Service related issues (incoming & outgoing customer orders) and processing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, maintain and promote a pleasant relationship with all internal and external customers.Key orders, Make Order updates, Date Changes, and process Complaints with minimal errors.Maintain customer file with deliveries, telephone numbers, Email, Sales, Etc.Supply sales, shipping, marketing, production and distribution with pertinent information concerning customer activity (sales, special events, large orders, etc.)Knowledge of product line in all locations.Arrange for proper handling of all customer requests and complaints (special deliveries, off day deliveries, etc.)Must be accurate in keypunching orders and concentration to ensure proper load dates and delivery dates are used.Develop excellent communication skills with co-workers to ensure all necessary departments are aware of delivery, load and customer changes.Education and Experience:High school diploma or the equivalent required.At least three years Customer Service experienceStrong computer skills with experience in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.SAP Experience a plusSkills and Competencies:Effective, courteous communication skillsMust be organized with great attention to detailMust be able to perform data entry with accuracyCustomer FocusedLeadership SkillsOrganizational SkillsHP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer Female/Minority/Veteran/Disabled "VERVRAA Federal Contractor"Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
