Job Description:
Program Supervisor in Youth Development Program: This full time
position is responsible for the daily operation of youth
development programs for youth and teens. This includes program
development, oversight, and provision of afterschool and summer
programs, and comprehensive adolescent pregnancy prevention
services, staff supervision, and output/outcome tracking and
reporting.The successful candidate must be sensitive to cultural
differences and be able to incorporate that into service provision,
possess the ability to collect data and prepare reports, be able to
perform all physical aspects of the position including the ability
to engage in physical activities with the youth, have a valid NYS
driver's license, and current CPR/First Aid certification or the
ability to acquire within 60 days of hire. A Bachelor's Degree in
Human Services with at least 4 years of experience working with
youth, and two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Youth Development principles and practices desired.
Substantial experience in the field can be substituted for
degree.
