currently searching for an experienced Obstetric Service Line Nurse
Educator to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This state-of-the-art acute care hospital is home to over 200
licensed beds and is known to provide comprehensive care to over
600,000 patients annually. The Obstetric Service Line Nurse
Educator will work within a hospital that is an epicenter of care
for patients who need advanced treatment such as open-heart
surgery, specialized cancer treatments, trauma care, vascular care,
neurosurgery, as well as orthopedic and spinal care. This hospital

The Obstetric Service Line Nurse Educator will join an advanced
maternal health service line that consists of 4 private LDR rooms,
8 postpartum rooms, OR’s for Caesarean births, and a special care
nursery. The Nurse Educator will work amongst experienced obstetric
nurses, certified nurse midwives, pediatric nurse practitioners,
physician assistants, pediatricians, and hospitalists. This service
line is equipped to offer patient-centered prenatal care, health
screenings, educational programs, labor and delivery services, as
well as neonatal and postpartum care.
The Obstetric Service Line Nurse Educator is responsible for the
continual staff education including developing unit competencies,
ongoing education programs, and onboarding of new hires. This role
is also responsible for the ongoing mentoring of service line staff
and will work in collaboration with both quality and risk
management departments to identify ongoing regulatory requirements.
The Nurse Educator must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
school of nursing, Master’s degree preferred. At least 3-5 years of
progressive Obstetric Educator experience is required.
