Trouble shoot system problems, maintain and repair all
components of a refrigeration system, as well as all HVAC
equipment, including accompanying electrical control devices,
energy management systems and plumbing in a timely and professional
manner. Adhere to all federal, and local guidelines (EPA and OSHA)
and in accordance with the company and department policies and
include the following.
Troubleshoot and repair all refrigeration system including
refrigerant based systems, CO2 systems, secondary refrigerant
systems with Glycol, Forced Air Chiller, HVAC equipment, electronic
controls and systems on emergency and preventative maintenance
schedules. Minor plumbing, electrical, and lighting repairs as
Diagnosis of all problems related to equipment, including energy
management systems, mechanical or electrical, Energy Management
systems to include Interlogic software, Andover software and CPC
Order and control inventory needs to maintain good operating
control throughout distribution.
Identify and provide justification when needed for equipment
replacement and tools.
Schedule day-to-day work to be done and react to high priority
Locate and repair refrigerant leaks in accordance with EPA and
Repair/replace components, case trim, doors, and
Work with supervision, maintenance, electrical, dispatch,
vendors and associates to keep equipment in good condition and
assist others when needed.
Maintain up-to-date training of equipment design through RSES,
RETA, and CPC classes.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management and
adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Degree from accredited HVAC and refrigeration vocational
EPA certification and documented certification card for handling
refrigerants (Type I and II)
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be 21 years of age
Must submit to DL Monitoring
