What You’ll Get to Do The Shipping Supervisor is focused on overseeing shipping operations, leading and developing team members, driving safety and performance. This leader will ensures efficient shipping operations that support exceptional customer experience. and reports to the Fleet Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who is customer focused, safety oriented, and drives continuous improvement. A vital member of the Shipping Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Manage receiving, processing, and distribution operations in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational requirements. Ensure quality across all departmental outputs, including shipments, truckloads, documentation, reporting, and forklift operations. Coordinate order and delivery tracking, and reporting to optimize resources and meet customer shipment requirements. Partner with cross?functional teams (including Customer Service) to support performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Lead hands?on safety, quality, and performance oversight; ensure proper equipment and PPE use, maintain accurate records, and train, coach, and motivate employees through ongoing feedback and development. What We Are Looking For Experience with Warehouse Management Systems 3 plus years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast?paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with math, computer use, and accurate typing. Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and accurately reading and writing measurements, including fractions.
