Operations Support Manager plays a key role in executing assigned
Operations tasks. This includes overseeing daily operations
activities to ensure cost-effective operations and maintained
service level agreements. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily
Processing, Filling, and Packaging operations, including
scheduling, and routing as directed. Supervise and support the
Operations team, providing training and development opportunities.
Collaborate with distribution, logistics, sales, and customer
service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Ensure all Operations activities comply with federal, state, and
local regulations, as well as company policies. Track and analyze
Operations metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement
corrective actions, ensuring cost-effective operations. Address and
resolve any Operations-related issues or complaints from customers.
Notifies others of mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity
and equipment capabilities, and begins to identify areas where
operators can assist in resolving concerns. Aids and supports all
production functions as assigned by manager to ensure Service Level
Agreements (SLA) are maintained and adjusted as needed. Compliant
with all legal requirements concerning SQF, NY State, and FDA. Min.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or operations.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations preferably in the
dairy or food industry. Strong leadership and team management
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to analyze data and make informed decisions. Knowledge of industry
regulations and compliance standards. Byrne Headquartered in
LaFayette, Byrne is a Central New York-based dairy company with a
legacy spanning over 90 years. Its operations include an extended
shelf-life (ESL) and ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurization
plant in DeWitt, as well as an ESL manufacturing facility in
Cortlandville. Byrne also maintains warehouse facilities in
Syracuse and East Syracuse, along with a dedicated ice cream center
