Job Description:

Specific Job Duties -

  • To at all times display a can-do attitude when working with co-workers, managers, and GUESTS!
  • Accurately cleans suites with consistent quality: completely and accurately cleans and stocks kitchen/dining area, living room, bedroom, and bathroom to highest standard, while using proper cleaning supplies and chemicals
  • Starts shift/ends shift following all policies and procedures: signs in and out keys and coats, strips rooms completely and accurately, keeps accurate linen count sheets, reports any missing items/linen to supervisor, turns in any lost and found items to supervisor, cleans and stocks cart at the end of each day, cleans out linen cart at the end of each day, disposes of trash properly, checks with supervisor at the end of the day for dismissal
  • Takes care of company equipment and maintains a clean work environment: vacuums hallway daily , keeps carts and closets clean, keeps dirty linen off floor, reports any maintenance issues to the supervisor
  • Completes special projects: accurately completes rooms projects and public area projects following proper procedures and checklists, accurately completes special public area projects at the correct pace
  • Works at the proper pace: completely cleans rooms, completes special public area projects in appropriate time, finishes cleaning suites at appropriate time based on number of NS/NH/PP rooms, completes extra service checklists or extra projects when finished early, cleans checkouts first
  • Actively demonstrates basic CRM and OPOG skills: greets/welcomes guests, makes eye contact, smiles, introduces him/herself, attempts conversation when appropriate, offers assistance to any guests in need, reports any guests compliments and complaints to front desk/MOD/supervisor
  • Deep clean rooms according to the checklist at the proper pace, restocks all items -reports any maintenance issues to maintenance department, reports any poor condition items to supervisor
  • Performs according to housekeeping detail guidelines
  • Follows all key control procedures
  • Follows all lost and found procedures
  • Locks appropriate areas of hotel at appropriate times
  • Participates in creating an I AM SALES Culture: turns in sales leads to the sales department, delivers the highest level of service to all guests to help build loyalty, thanks guests for staying and asks them to return
  • Records any maintenance work orders on the maintenance log as needed
  • Responds to fire and emergency procedures by following required procedures
  • Maintains confidentiality for the safety of our guests
  • Follows all safety and security procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and team members alike
  • Uses equipment safely and follows all safety regulations
  • Participates in staff and department meetingsAny and all duties as assigned by Operations Manager, Department Supervisors, Assistant General Manager and General ManagerRequired qualifications:
    • 18 years or older
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
