for a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience in Neonatal
Intensive Care (NICU), seeking a 16-week assignment starting
February 2026 in the Syracuse, NY area. The role focuses on
providing critical care to neonates in a fast-paced NICU unit with
a supportive and collaborative team. Responsibilities include
delivering expert nursing care to critically ill newborns,
monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and
collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and
implement individualized care plans. Accurate documentation using
EPIC and adherence to protocols for patient safety are essential
functions of this position. Key Qualifications: - Active and clear
RN license - Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience - Current
BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications - Proficiency with EPIC
electronic charting system - Ability to work independently and as
part of a team in a critical care environment Schedule & Hours: -
Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) - Mandatory four weekend
shifts within every four-week period - 36 hours per week - No
blocked scheduling Location: Syracuse, NY Syracuse offers a blend
