Job Description:
Qualifications: Must be a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
?Must be in good standing with continuing education credits with
Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) Must possess excellent
interpersonal and communication skills Must successfully pass
pre-employment health clearance Responsibilities: Able to perform
general skills, in the level of acute care setting in the specialty
with minimal orientation and supervision Provide external beam
treatment planning for the delivery of radiation as prescribed by a
physician Confer with the Radiation Oncologist to design and
implement an optimal treatment plan Provide calculations to deliver
prescribed dosses of radiation to the patient’s tumor volume
Perform and document medical record quality checks Participate in
patient localization, simulation, volume contouring, planning CT
procedures and initial treatment
