Join our team and be a part of empowering the individuals we serve! *Sign on bonus up to $1000* Awake Overnight Shifts New Hire Rate: $20.00 SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional assists in providing self-care training, therapeutic treatments, and assistance in daily living to developmentally disabled individuals attending the agency's respite facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must stay awake and not place themselves in a compromising position/place that is conducive to sleep; Continuously assess the status of the physical building and the individuals throughout the duration of the shift. Provides individualized care as outlined in the individuals Life Plan, or ISP. Supports the residents to ensure their safety and well being. Observes, documents and communicates pertinent information such as behaviors, nursing, nutrition, clinical issues, etc., to facilitate assessment and development of treatment goals. About the ARC’S Residence Program : In the residential program, the most caring people are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents. They assist with personal care needs, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities.
