Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - ED /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee /n• Must reside within 60-mile radius of facility /n• Current New York State RN license required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not current) /n• MEDITECH experience required /n• Travel nursing experience required /n• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing /n• Critical care and charge experience preferred /n• Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and obtain defibrillation certification within six months /n• Must obtain IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation /n• Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations required /n• Must function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills /n• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate /n• May be required to assume charge nurse duties /n• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required /n• Must recognize safety issues and safely use lifts to move patients /n• Provide quality patient care and assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the North Country region, featuring a full-service emergency department that handles a wide range of medical emergencies and trauma cases.
