Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Addiction Medicine for a travel nursing job in Ithaca, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Addiction Medicine - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg (required), Psych (required), Rehab (preferred) - Travel experience preferred. - Certs REQ: BLS, CPI - License REQ: An active Licensed RN following state regulations is required. Description: - Shift: Rotating shifts: Days/Nights/Weekends 5 days a week-40 hours - Job Responsibilities - Completes physical & mental health assessments (VS, risk assessments, withdrawal assessment (COWS) as indicated by Part 820 regulations • Administers and monitors treatment regimens • Administers prescribed medications • Observes and reports behavioral changes • Maintains control of drugs and medications • Triage emergent client medical issues and coordinate care with the Nursing Staff, PA, NP, Medical Director and outside providers. • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
