Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Auburn, NY. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm- 7:30am. /n - Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life?threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high?intensity interventions /n - Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations /n - Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed /n - Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures /n - Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance) /n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Minimum 1.5 years total RN experience /n /n - 2 years of recent ER experience (required) /n /n - Active NY or Compact RN license /n /n - ACLS /n /n - BLS /n /n - NIHSS /n /n - PALS /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
