Job Description Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel Pathologists' Assistant for a travel job in Syracuse, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pathologists' Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Pathology Assistant for a hospital pathology department contract role. Day shift schedule, 40 hours/week with 13-week contract and full guarantee. Start date 3/23/2026; must have pathology assistant experience and required credentials. Schedule Info: - Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) - Hours/Day: 8 (40 hrs weekly guarantee) - Weekend Requirements: None - On Call Requirements: None Required Experience: - 1 years of current Pathology Assistant experience. - Competent in frozen sections, grossing biopsies, and large complex specimens. Required Education: - Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree also considered. Required License: - NY Pathology License (must be in hand at profile upload). Required Certification: - American Society for Clinical Pathology Board Certification (PA)ASCP (equivalent not accepted). Other Preferred Qualifications: - Experience overseeing a grossing room workflow. - Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. - Must have own vehicle for this need.
