Requirements / Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in New York State - BLS (American Heart Association) -

acute care Responsibilities – Medical-Surgical / Acute Care Nursing
- Provide evidence-based, competent care to patients across trauma,
general surgery, neuromusculoskeletal, acute care medicine, solid
organ transplant, rehabilitation, neurology, orthopedics,
neurosurgery, and adult admission units - Float between units as
needed; adapt quickly to varying patient acuity in acute care
settings - Assume expanded roles as needed, including charge nurse,
preceptor, and committee participation - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to
ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain compliance with hospital
protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements -
