Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee • Current New York State RN license required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer • MEDITECH experience required • Travel nursing experience required • Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing • Critical care and charge experience preferred • 75-mile radius rule applies • Must have ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations • Possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care • Must recognize safety issues and assess/implement use of lifts to move patients safely • Must function well in stressful situations with good problem-solving skills • Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate • May be required to assume duties as charge nurse • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required • Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation • Must be defibrillation certified within six months of employment • Must be IV, medication and phlebotomy certified during orientation Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community with a focus on emergency and critical care services.
