Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • 48 hours per week guaranteed • Block scheduling available but not guaranteed • Charge capability highly preferred • Floating to other units required • Navy blue scrubs required • Must have 2 years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience • Travel experience required • Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand) • EPIC electronic medical record experience required • Active New York nursing license required • Care for patients of all ages: newborn, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric • Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure • Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun • 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma rooms, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department providing critical care services to the community.
