Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience License: RN License (New York License required) Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Moderate sedation trained Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics - Experience in Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or Cardiac experience required Description: The Cath Lab specializes in mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. It includes both inpatient and outpatient procedural labs. The facility features 4 Cath labs and 3 Electrophysiology labs. It accommodates adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The Cath lab offers a comprehensive program with pre- and post-procedural care holding areas. The practice model prioritizes collaboration among RN staff and CVT staff. The focus is on achieving excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates are expected to be familiar with device and ablation procedures and equipment.
