registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A school is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse
(RN) to provide leave coverage as a School Nurse from March 23,
2026, through June 26, 2026. This full-time contract opportunity is
based in Syracuse, NY, serving a high school setting.
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students,
including health assessments, first aid, and managing chronic
conditions - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure
confidentiality - Collaborate with school staff, parents, and
healthcare providers to support student health and wellness -
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Use the
Frontline medical system to document and track health information
(preferred experience) - Respond promptly to medical emergencies
and provide appropriate care during school hours Qualifications: -
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) - Prior School Nurse experience is
preferred, especially in high school environments - Experience with
Frontline medical system is an advantage - Strong communication and
interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of
a multidisciplinary team Schedule & Location: - Full-time, 40 hours
per week - Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a
30-minute paid lunch break - Located in Syracuse, New York
