This not-for-profit, community-focused health system is dedicated to improving the health of the populations it serves through comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective care.Practice Overview Join a large anesthesiology team consisting of 14 physicians and 20 CRNAs Provide coverage at two acute care hospitals, including a Level II Trauma Center Additional opportunities available for extra shifts at an affiliated community hospital Broad case mix including general anesthesia and light cardiac cases Call schedule of approximately 1:4, with resident rotation supportCompensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary of $675,000 $50,000 sign-on bonus Excellent benefits package, including a pension and defined benefit plan Eligibility for partnership after two years, with an associated salary increaseAcademic Environment Teaching hospital environment with affiliations to regional academic medical centers Participation in residency and fellowship training programs, collectively training more than 100 physicians annuallyLocation and LifestyleLocated in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier, the region offers exceptional quality of life with easy driving access (approximately 2–5 hours) to major cities and destinations including New York City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, and multiple East Coast and Canadian destinations.
