Job Description Gastroenterology opening in NYLocated in Oswego, New YorkFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join high volume practice.The Center is comprised of experienced gastroenterologists and a robust practice management and support team. The practice is highly integrated and actively engaged in education and teaching within the local and regional academic medical community.Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p (outpatient); 50% office/50% OR Join 1 full time physician and 2 part time physicians, would like to add an additional full time physician; 1 full time APP and 2 part time APPs Hospital Employed High volume practice (physicians see approximately 20 ppd with support in practice; approximately 15-scopes per day and available for inpatient consult when scheduled in the hospital Bread and butter GI (screenings, GI bleeds, recall on polyps, etc.); ERCP is a plus; no capabilities for EUS but open to discussion; physicians see approximately 20 ppd in practice and approximately 15- scopes per day in OR (plus available for inpatient consults as needed) EMR: Meditech 7-days of ED call per month are required in base contract (includes 5 week days and 2 weekend days – weekend schedule is 5p on Friday until 7a on Monday) Compensation: Highly competitive salary range of $725k - $775k plus wRVU model Sign-on bonus ($100k), reimbursement for relocation (up to $10k with receipts) and student loans ($30k over length of contract) (if applicable) Competitive paid time off and CME time off (34 days including 6 legal holidays) Comprehensive Benefits Package: health, dental, vision, 403B, life and disability (Blue Cross, Blue Shield available for provider and family and effective on day 1) Annual CME, dues and licensure reimbursement (up to $5,500) Malpractice Paid for by Hospital Location: Located in New York State’s “Central” region, Oswego offers small city living with close proximity to many large metropolitan areas Located on Lake Ontario, Oswego sees all four (4) distinct seasons and offers endless opportunities for boating, sailing and other water sports as well as many cultural events, festivals and family activities throughout the year Oswego County schools offer advanced learning curriculum standards and prepare students to excel as they pursue higher education opportunities – in addition to primary schools, Oswego County is also home to SUNY Oswego and Cayuga Community College, both which have received national recognitions; youth sports in hockey, figure skating, baseball/softball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse – to name a few Oswego has received grants yearly for a revitalization of the city, specifically the downtown area – weekly Farmers’ Market during the Summer months, new restaurants (open container in designated area for strolls along the river), storefronts and living Short drive to both Syracuse and Rochester to attend professional sporting events and locally the Oswego Speedway
