Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with varied scheduling including days and nights /n• Weekend, holiday, and call coverage required /n• 13-week assignment duration /n• Must be located within 100-mile radius of facility /n• Current critical care experience preferred /n• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment - new travelers not considered /n• May be required to assume charge nurse duties /n• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care /n• Ability to assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects /n• Must recognize safety issues and safely assess/implement patient lifts and transfers /n• Strong ability to function in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills /n• Leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate required /n• Current New York State RN license required /n• BLS and ACLS certifications required /n• PALS certification preferred /n• NIHSS certification required within first 6 months of employment /n• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing required /n• Previous employees must be gone at least 2 years and eligible for rehire /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on critical care and intensive care unit services.
