This New York nursing job offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant college town known for its scenic gorges and access to the Finger Lakes./n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 2, 2025 – September 1, 2025)/n - Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit (inpatient and endoscopy center)/n - Shift: Variable shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)/n - Call: Required between inpatient and endoscopy center/n - Employment Type: Travel RN, W2/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2140 - $2300/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active RN license (New York State or compact license)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Endoscopy nursing or acute care setting/n - BLS certification required/n - Ability to participate in on-call rotation/n - Excellent communication and critical thinking skills/n /n/nEndoscopy RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings/n - Monitor patient status before, during, and after endoscopy procedures/n - Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures and clinical interventions/n - Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions/n - Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care/n - Participate in the unit's call rotation as required/n - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards/n /n/n /n Discover the charm of Ithaca and take the next step in your nursing career.
