Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Telemetry) Position Overview Seeking experienced day shift travel RNs for adult Med/Surg telemetry units. Candidates must be comfortable caring for telemetry patients and performing core bedside skills independently. Level I or Level II trauma experience and EPIC EMR experience are highly preferred. Schedule Requirements Day Shift Every other weekend required Some holidays required Excessive time off will not be approved Set days of the week scheduling will not be approved Required Qualifications Current New York State RN License (required) BLS certification (must be current and maintain certification) Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the field (required) Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms (required) Ability to start IVs and draw labs (required) Strong nursing assessment skills in an acute care setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must not have had professional license/certification suspended or under investigation Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must pass pre-employment health clearance Subject to drug screening and criminal background check Highly Desired Experience Level I Trauma hospital experience EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience For more details reach at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
