Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CCU / Critical Care (Adult ED/ICU Holding Unit) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CCU Shift: Day – 3x12 Hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Duration: 13 Weeks Location: Syracuse, NY Position Overview Seeking experienced day shift Critical Care RNs for the Adult ED/ICU holding unit. Candidates must have strong ICU experience and be comfortable managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. ED experience is preferred. This is a local rate only position . Schedule Requirements 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Every other weekend required Some holidays required Set schedules not permitted Time off requests greater than 7 consecutive days will not be approved Required Qualifications Current New York State RN License (required) BLS certification (current and able to be recertified) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (required) Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity Strong nursing assessment skills in an acute/critical care setting Ability to perform majority of patient care skills independently with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must not have had professional license/certification suspended or investigated Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must pass pre-employment health clearance Subject to drug screening and criminal background check Highly Desired Experience Emergency Department (ED) experience Level I or Level II Trauma hospital experience EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
