Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Specialty: Labor & Delivery Shift: Night Shift Schedule: 3x12 Hours per Week Contract Length: 13 Weeks Job Location: Ithaca, New York Pay Rates Local: $65/hour Traveler: $75/hour Job Description We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment at a busy acute care facility. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients and must be comfortable floating to the postpartum unit as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Assist with labor management, deliveries, and immediate postpartum care Safely administer medications and treatments per physician orders Accurately document care using Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Float to the postpartum unit as required Requirements Minimum 2 years of RN experience Labor & Delivery experience required Postpartum experience with prior floating required Recent Epic EMR experience required Certifications & Licensure Active RN License Required L&D-related certifications per facility standards
